Key findings

• We recorded 138 empty-leg listings priced in US dollars in August 2026, across 110 routes and 16 aircraft types.
• The median listing asked $5,160 for the whole aircraft. The middle half of the market sat between $3,118 and $9,138.
• Divided across every seat on board, the median came to $676 per seat, and 78% of flights were listed under $10,000.
• Half of all flights first appeared on the board 9 days or less before departure; 31% appeared within three days of it.
• Thursday was the most common departure day, with 24% of flights.

How these figures are measured

Every listing on the Solusjet empty-leg board is recorded within the hour it first appears, with its asking price, aircraft, route and departure date. This report counts each listing once, in the month it was first recorded, at the price first shown.

Prices are asking prices for the whole aircraft in US dollars, as listed. 9 listings priced in other currencies are left out rather than converted. Price per seat divides the asking price by the seats the listing offers.

Notice is measured from the day a listing first appeared on our board to its departure date. Tracking began on 27 August 2026; listings already live that day are counted from it, which understates notice slightly for this month.

The board reflects the inventory of the operator network we work with, not the whole private aviation market.
