Paris Le Bourget · LBG / LFPB
Where Europe
boards privately.
Lindbergh landed here in 1927. Today Le Bourget is Europe's busiest business-aviation airport — dedicated to private flight, eleven kilometres from the centre of Paris.
Le Bourget stopped handling airlines in 1980 and never looked back. Three runways, more than a dozen FBO terminals and Dassault's own Falcon service centre make it the continent's reference point for private aviation — busier than its business-airport rivals in London, Geneva or Milan, and immune to the scheduled-traffic congestion of Charles de Gaulle next door.
Summer traffic surges toward the Riviera, the islands and the Alps: Nice, Ibiza, Mykonos, Olbia, Geneva. That seasonal churn creates constant repositioning — which is why Paris features so often on our live empty-leg board. Transatlantic clients connect here too, with heavy jets running nonstop to Teterboro in just over eight hours.
